An outstanding 18ct yellow gold and platinum emerald and diamond ring of the Edwardian era.

 

At its heart lies a stellar central cushion shaped step cut emerald of a brilliant, verdant green, reminiscent of the joy of spring seedlings, and the rolling hills of summertime, framed by four sparkling dewdrop diamonds.

 

These diamonds have clearly been carefully chosen for their warming tones, emitting the gentlest of yellow hues to complement this viridescent emerald. With glittering milgrain details to their borders and totalling in at 0.8 carats, these old cut diamonds add an air of elegance from a bygone era. The nature of this ring’s unique shape is reminiscent of the shamrock, a symbol of good luck. The chances of finding a four-leaf clover weigh in at one in 10,000; hinting to the rarity of this radiant treasure.
